10-HOUR STIPENDIARY LECTURERSHIP IN ENGLISH
Brasenose College wishes to appoint a 10-hour Stipendiary Lecturer from 1st October 2024 until 31st March 2025 to cover research leave. The person appointed will co-ordinate with Prof Sos Eltis and Prof Simon Palfrey to teach 2nd and 3rd year undergraduates FHS Papers 2 (Shakespeare), 3 (1550-1660) and 4 (1660-1760). If appropriate they may be asked to help with supervision of undergraduate Dissertations. They should expect to play a full part in Student Admissions and to assist generally in the running of English in collaboration with the subject tutors.
The salary scale will be within the range £25,046 - £28,305 per annum, according to qualifications and experience. Note that this is not a full-time role and the salary reflects this.
