The opportunity:
We are looking for an enthusiastic post-doctoral researcher with interest and experience in analysing genomic and/or longitudinal mental health data. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious post-doctoral scientist to work within a field- leading team and contribute to knowledge on the genomic (genetic and epigenetic) and phenotypic foundations of depression. Applications are invited for a post-doctoral researcher post focused on the analysis and dissemination of genetic, epigenetic (DNA methylation) and longitudinal phenotypic data from large cohort studies such as: Generation Scotland: Scottish Family Health Study, UK Biobank, The Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children and other longitudinal studies.
The successful applicant will analyse longitudinal phenotypic, clinical, cognitive, imaging with genomic data from these samples and will work within a wider group looking at genetic influences on mood and mental health phenotypes within the Major Depressive Disorder Working Group of the Psychiatric Genomics Consortium.
