The role of the Strategic Marketing and Communications unit is to position Queen’s as a global leader in education and research, delivering a world class experience for our students, and continuing to drive the future economic growth of Northern Ireland with impact on global society.

The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of the Strategic Marketing and Communications strategy, ensuring all internal communications are aligned to support the delivery of the University’s strategic objectives. They will develop and deliver effective internal communications across the University to support staff engagement. He/She will also develop and deliver the internal communication elements of communication strategies, plans, and campaigns.

The successful candidate must have:

  • Honours Degree.
  • Proven experience in the field of internal communications, press, and public relations.
  • Experience in handling internal communications for a medium to large-scale organisation.
  • Experience of using a Content Management System.
  • Experience of writing corporate copy, including speeches, website copy, and publications.

Anticipated interview date: Wednesday 8 and Thursday 9 August 2018.

Salary: £32,548 - £38,833 per annum (potential to progress to £42,418 per annum through sustained exceptional contribution).
