The School of Art & Design has an impressive reputation for creative excellence and intellectual challenge. The established and successful provision within Visual Arts includes Undergraduate and Postgraduate Fine Art. Fine Art at NTU has an excellent national reputation and is truly grounded in contemporary Fine Art practice. We provide our learners with the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary approach, across a range of media, whilst engaging with Nottingham’s thriving creative community.
Fine Art require a Principal Lecturer to lead the development of the future vision of the discipline and manage the Fine Art undergraduate and postgraduate courses. We are particularly interested in candidates with a proven track record in Higher Education and experience of implementing innovation through course development. Your subject expertise will ideally have been acquired through academic research and/or industry experience. You will need good managerial and organisational skills to lead the fine art team in developing the current reputation of the subject. You will have a first degree and further qualifications in relevant subjects or the equivalent, and be able to evidence engagement in research or continued professional development.
