We are seeking an experienced postdoctoral medicinal or synthetic organic chemist to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team researching novel treatments for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). The ideal candidate will have experience, evidenced through scientific publications and conference presentations, of synthetic approaches to target novel molecules to mitochondria, and have a strong background in the synthesis of slow release sulfide, persulfide and perthiol delivery moieties. A very good understanding of intellectual property is highly desirable.
