The appointment will be on UCL Grade 8. The salary range will be £43,884 - £51,769 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.

To carry out research and teaching with a focus on the areas set out below and academic related administration within the Department.

Key Requirements

Expert knowledge sufficient to undertake advanced level teaching and academic research in one or more of the following areas: information theory; knowledge management, discovery and retrieval, data mining; knowledge-based systems; data science; metadata; information security; library management systems. A broad knowledge of information science and/or data science sufficient to teach a range of related topics at undergraduate and postgraduate university level and give other forms of public presentation. Evidence of ability to conduct high quality research which is reflected in the authorship of high quality publications.
