The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, a Recognized Independent Centre of the University of Oxford, incorporated by Royal Charter, is seeking to appoint an Academic Officer.
The Academic Officer is responsible for key aspects of the day to day running of a busy Academic Office with particular accountability for administration of the Centre’s Scholarship programmes (for Undergraduates and Graduates) and also the Visiting Fellowships Programmes. The post will take a proactive role in developing and expanding aspects of Academic Office programmes and systems.
The individual will work within the Academic Office team and report to the Deputy Registrar. The post holder also liaises closely with other individuals in the Centre, members of the University and outside agencies. Internally the role liaises with the Director, the Bursar, Registrar, Deputy Registrar, Dean of Scholars, and others as appropriate.
