At QA we are passionate about the positive impact of degree apprenticeships as a means of enabling engagement with Higher Education for the wider social spectrum.  We are committed to developing innovative means of teaching that support the new modes of study required by modern students.

You will be working within a growing and expanding team where we all work, support and learn from each other in order to provide our Learners with a dedicated, exceptional level of service that we are extremely proud to be part of.

As the Deputy Programme Leader you will be expected to support the BSc and MSc Programme Leaders in the administration and management of the programmes, liaising with clients, students and our partner institutions to ensure academic standards are maintained and we continue to improve the student experience.

About the programmes:

The BSc (Hons) Digital & Technology Solutions and MSc Digital and Technology Specialist Degree Apprenticeships involve the delivery of a number of computing streams which incorporate Software Engineering, Computer Networking, Cyber Security, Big Data, Analytics and Maths, and broader areas of Computer Science.

Our programmes use a mixture of distance and face-to-face teaching and facilitation across the country using experiential and spiral methods to develop theories-in-action in a work-based learning approach that is both scholarly and professional.

Our learners come from a wide variety of backgrounds and work for an equally wide variety of companies including some of the biggest technology companies in Europe.

Your focus:

Supporting the day to day running of the degree apprenticeships programmes.

As important is role-modelling your interest in inquiry and focussing into organisations to promote the professional development of our learners (their employees).

We work as a geographically dispersed but close-knit team, sharing teaching experiences and new ideas. We challenge each other and work determinedly and efficiently, to reach ever improving teaching and learning standards and outcomes.

You will be required to attend University meetings and QA face-to-face sessions across the breadth of QA sites as the academic schedule requires.  This may require overnight stays.

Bring your experience:
