We are seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer in Film and TV Production who will contribute excellent teaching and research to this award winning, dynamic, industry focused programme.
Teaching on both the undergraduate and post graduate Film and Television programmes, the post holder will be a specialist in either drama or documentary with relevant creative skills in general production in your specialist area.
Module and/or year-group leadership is expected of the post holder who will also be responsible for the pastoral care of students. You will contribute to the design and development of inclusive teaching, learning and assessment for our diverse Student body over a range of modules and be involved in programme development, assessment and related administration duties.
The successful applicant will have a good understanding of Film and TV creation and Production within a contemporary and evolving environment. Teaching experience and a proven track record using advanced production skills and creative approaches to film and television production is required along with practical experience in different professional environments. Knowledge, presentation and technical skills related to the subject are essential, as well as an understanding of social, economic and cultural debates that underpin contemporary Film and TV Production. The successful candidate will also have the ability and knowledge to teach IT skills and technical skills related to the subject.

The post holder will be required to hold a relevant honours degree and postgraduate qualification in the subject or related subject, and will have significant industrial experience.
