The Department of Computer Science and London Centre for Nanotechnology (LCN) at University College London are currently advertising a unique joint full-time lectureship in Quantum Information Science. The successful candidate will be expected to develop their own programme of internationally-leading research in quantum information science, complementing and/or strengthening the quantum information research within the Department of Computer Science and LCN. They will also be expected to contribute to the undergraduate and masters-level teaching in the Department of Computer Science, with a teaching load that will not exceed that of a single-department lectureship.
Candidates must hold a PhD in theoretical physics, theoretical computer science, mathematics, or cognate subject. They should have a strong track record of theoretical research in quantum information science, broadly interpreted.
