Swinburne’s School of Engineering are recruiting a Vice-Chancellor’s Research Fellowship – Women in STEM. This is a 3-year research-intensive fellowship, followed by an ongoing standard research and teaching academic position available. In this prestigious position, you will be located within the School of Engineering and work as part of the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology, which has a strong culture of research excellence and industry partnerships.
During your 3 year Fellowship, you will have the opportunity to undertake research as part of two of our key Research Institutes: Smart Cities and Manufacturing Futures. These two institutes are leading the way to creating sustainable and community focussed solutions with high research impact. You will have the opportutnity work with prominent international and local engineers. In your research, you will make an independent contribution that expands knowledge, contributing to the Faculty’s research excellence and impact in collaboration with external partners as required.
Upon conclusion of your Fellowship, an ongoing Lecturer position will be available to you in Civil and/or Mechanical Engineering, where you will be contributing to other appropriate professional activities within the Faculty. As one of our academics, you will perform teaching duties, including developing and supporting academic programs and working with the academic team in the development of program change and innovation.
