The University has recently established a new Centre for Teaching and Learning and is seeking to appoint its first Director to develop the strategic vision, lead the cross-disciplinary team and develop a community of practise. The Director will champion the Centre as it evolves as a hub for academic development in teaching and learning at Oxford.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, proven successful experience of providing leadership in teaching and learning practice within the Higher Education context and the ability to build strong collaborative relationships and strategic alliances to deliver coordinated and innovative support for academic professional development and teaching excellence at Oxford.

The Director for the Centre for Teaching and Learning will be educated to degree level, have excellent numeracy skills with financial awareness, and experience of managing change with the ability to inspire confidence and to motivate staff.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Thursday 20 June 2019.
