The University of Wolverhampton holds a distinctive place within the Higher Education sector, and is a successful modern University, delivering excellence in teaching and research, widening access and business engagement. The University’s current strategic plan places students at the centre of everything it does and positions it as a driver of social and economic transformation.
The University is looking for a new Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience) to join the senior leadership team of the University. The appointee will provide strategic leadership for the whole of the student lifecycle, including TEF, student recruitment and innovations in teaching and learning. A key focus will be the delivery and embedding of a ‘Students First’ approach. The appointee will work closely with colleagues on the senior team and across the institution, ensuring that the academic function of the University is developing to meet their key strategic aims.
We are looking for candidates with ambition and commitment to student success who are already experienced academic leaders, able to provide evidence of working collaboratively with colleagues across an institution. An inspirational, visionary perspective of the student lifecycle with a passion for student development will be critical.
