The Oxford University Department for Continuing Education welcomes applications from locally-based physical science tutors with a particular interest in astronomy, astrophysics or closely related subjects, to join its panel of hourly-paid, part-time tutors. Applicants should be well-qualified academically with experience of teaching and researching at university level. There is a specific opening for a tutor who can propose, plan and teach widely appealing courses at the introductory level in general descriptive astronomy, stellar and galactic astronomy, modern physical cosmology or planetary and space science.
