Lancaster University is seeking to appoint an outstanding and creative Marketing Manager to lead on global student recruitment marketing for the Faculty of Health and Medicine. Based within the Marketing Office, you will use your expertise to attract and convert prospects from around the world, to join us here at the University.
The Marketing Office is responsible for raising the awareness and reputation of Lancaster University among its target audiences, and for increasing the quality and quantity of applicants. The Marketing Manager will lead the delivery of marketing activity for the Faculty of Health and Medicine with the support of Faculty colleagues and the Marketing and Recruitment Teams. This activity will include market research, development of effective marketing campaigns and content and integration with central University marketing activity.
The Faculty of Health and Medicine offers undergraduate courses in medicine and in biomedical and life sciences, taught and research based postgraduate programmes, opportunities for doctoral research, including professional doctorates, and a wide range of options for continuing professional development. The Faculty is committed to pursuing world class research and brings together biomedical, medical, and social science researchers to tackle key challenges of the 21st Century within health and medicine.
The Faculty has ambitious growth plans with particular emphasis on growing international student numbers and international teaching partnerships. The University is investing in a new £41m Health Innovation Campus which will act as a focal point, allowing researchers, healthcare professionals, businesses, local authorities and policy-makers, to focus on a systems approach to improving health. The new campus will open in 2020.
