We are seeking an experienced Data Warehouse Architect to join the Data Warehouse project team to provide the technical leadership for the build and maintenance of a new corporate data warehouse. This strategic role will help enable effective and efficient evidence-based decision making for the management of the University. The project team provides a stimulating and motivating work environment.

This position provides an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering a major change initiative of significant strategic importance to the University. You will be required to work alongside a team of analysts, translating the business needs of the University into a technical reporting solution. You will take a lead role on data governance of the data warehouse to ensure the long-term structure of the warehouse is fit for purpose and that the data that resides within it is documented and builds trust across the University.

You will have a degree or post-graduate qualification in a related field plus significant relevant experience. You will have hands-on experience of dimensional database modelling, ETL design processes and database administration in a SQL Server environment. You will be driven, meticulous, possess strong communication skills, and be willing and able to move in a fast-paced, evolving project environment.
