The Centre for Integrated Renewable Energy Generation and Supply (CIREGS), one of the research groups within Cardiff School of Engineering, is seeking to recruit a Research Associate for an exciting project undertaking research into local multi-vector energy systems. The project will investigate the system impacts of the development of local multi-vector energy systems using a whole energy system model.
The Research Associate will work with several major collaborative in this multidisciplinary project.
CIREGS has particular expertise in modelling electricity, gas and heat networks and the integrated design and operation of multi-vector energy systems. The successful candidate will play a key role within an established research team. Applications are encouraged from candidates with experience and interest in a range of energy systems modelling and simulation.
This post is full-time available from 1 December 2019 and is fixed-term until 30 November 2021.
