Manchester Met is recruiting a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to join the School of Fashion.

The School of Fashion offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses that are designed to combine academic, innovative and creative knowledge with practical experiences of the creative industries. We are home to a community of fashion designers, buyers, merchandisers, managers, researchers, product developers and marketers, our fashion courses cover the breadth of the industry from fashion design, to management, business and product development.
You are expected to contribute to both the curriculum and the enhancement of student experience whilst actively participating in departmental activities. You will be required to teach at postgraduate and undergraduate levels Fashion Marketing subjects including fashion communication, strategic marketing theory, PR/Social media, branding, data analytics and the relevant digital applications that are required in the field of fashion promotion and innovation. You will be required to work closely with a range of academics, researchers and industry professionals across the wider creative industry sector.
The ideal candidate must demonstrate excellent oral and written competencies, interpersonal skills and a willingness to work in multidisciplinary teams. He/she should also have considerable knowledge and experience of working in this subject area.
You should have a good first degree and a postgraduate qualification in a related subject with relevant teaching and significant industry experience.
