The School of Humanities expands the understanding of the world's culture and creativity through the critical study of history, literature, comics and media, creative writing, continental philosophy, modern languages, and practice-based archival education. It attracts over 1000 students across these disciplines, working closely with the University’s Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design. We are recruiting for an exceptional individual to join us as a Lecturer (Teaching & Research) In Digital Record Keeping within our Centre for Archive and Information Studies, to fulfil the duties of Lecturer and who will be part of the core team which provides the support and delivery of Centre for Archive and Information Studies (CAIS) modules with particular emphasis on digital recordkeeping.

You will assist in the maintenance of programme structure and curricula development to ensure the quality assurance and professional accreditation of the CAIS distance learning programmes are maintained. You will develop a distinctive body of research in digital record-keeping. Other duties may include the development of consultancy-based initiatives and short courses and workshops. The identification of opportunities to grow unregulated income will be encouraged.
