The Level of appointment (Lecturer/Senior Lecturer or Reader) will be determined by the Selection Panel:

Lecturer Grade: UE08 (£41,526 - £49,553) or Senior Lecturer/Reader Grade: UE09 (£52,559 - £59,135)

We seek an excellent scientist to join the academic staff of the University of Edinburgh and expand our expertise in the area of Bioinformatics. We want to appoint someone with a flair for teaching, a growing international research reputation, and a commitment to engagement with research users and the public. We welcome applicants from any field of bioinformatics.

We will encourage your creativity across boundaries and disciplines within and beyond the life sciences. The appointment will be at Lecturer or Senior Lecturer/Reader level depending on skills and experience.
