Montessori Centre International (MCI), based in St John’s Wood, is a leading Montessori teacher training college, offering a range of qualifications including BA (Hons) in Montessori Early Childhood Practice. With a 10-year track record in Higher Education, MCI is looking to further enhance its dynamic academic team by appointing a Principal Lecturer to develop its portfolio of qualifications.
MCI is committed to an innovative ‘connected learning’ approach to teaching and learning, blending synchronous and asynchronous online learning with classroom based engagement. We have an international student profile, connecting students in multi-national, diverse study cohorts.
You will contribute to high quality teaching on a range of modules, including Research Methods and supervise Level 6 students’ dissertation projects. You will also develop innovative research in Montessori to enhance our reputation as an international centre of excellence for Montessori education.
You will have a PhD or postgraduate qualification, a strong publication record, and a commitment and enthusiasm for working within the field of Montessori education.
While a background in Montessori education is an advantage, we welcome applicants from across the academic field of early years education with a willingness to develop a Montessori specialism.
