We are looking for a versatile and enthusiastic new colleague to join the Research and Development Support (ReDS) team. Working as part of a busy central team you will provide administrative support for externally funded research awards to ensure compliance with internal procedures and the terms and conditions of external sponsors of research, consultancy and contracts.
The Research & Development Support (ReDS) team supports the institution’s research community by working closely with academics, funders and partners to provide expertise on income generation and project management both pre and post award. The team offers a high level of professional support in navigating the increasingly complex criteria of investors and funders as well as facilitates a programme of workshops and one-to-ones for all UEL staff.
Educated to degree level or equivalent you will have proven experience of providing post-award support for multi-partner research projects in an HEI context. You will have good numerical skills and be a proficient user of Excel. A working knowledge of award management systems and related software is desirable, as is some understanding of legal documentation, including collaboration agreements.
