About the role
We are looking for an exceptional candidate with expertise in exercise sciences along with conducting and managing clinical trials to work on an MRC-funded research programme (the “RESET4REMISSION” programme). The programme is focused on testing whether a low energy diet combined with exercise training can lead to diabetes remission and improved cardiac health in younger adults with early-onset type 2diabetes (aged 16-40 years).
Candidates must hold an MSc and first degree (2:1 or above) in a relevant discipline. All applicants should have some relevant experience in project management and research experience in supporting data collection and data analysis. Applicants should also be able demonstrate previous experience of contributing to publications and project management.
