Maynooth International Engineering College (MIEC), in partnership with Fuzhou University, is seeking excellent candidates to teach in our computer science programmes. These programmes are taught through English in Fuzhou University, Fujian, China. The person appointed will be working as part of an international team with a mission to enhance the international academic experience of MIEC students and to deliver research-informed teaching. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to visit Maynooth University in Ireland to facilitate learning development and research collaborations.
This position is full-time for up to 3 years, with the option for extension.

Salary range: 200,000RMB to 350,000RMB per year.
Candidate must hold a PhD in computer science or a cognate discipline. Applicants with a background in either software engineering, computer systems, formal methods, computer vision, databases, digital humanities, artificial intelligence/machine learning, or theoretical computer science are especially encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of the Maynooth University academic curriculum within a European pedagogical approach to the Maynooth International Engineering College. Ideally, the candidate should have two years university teaching experience and a strong research record.
