Contract: Full Time, 1 year fixed contract from start date (potential for 2 year extension, funding permitting)
Location: This position will be based at the Singleton Campus, however can also work/hot desk from the Bay Campus.
The role provides support and guidance to academics, principal investigators and professional services, in work associated with the preparation, formulation and application for collaborative research project funding and award, as directed by the Strategic Partnership Manager. The post-holder will utilise the University’s Award Management System (AMS) to support, coordinate and progress proposals and funding applications and support the Strategic Partnership Manager, principal investigators, Research Hub teams and senior management in the coordination of these external UKRI collaborative project funding opportunities. The post holder will ensure that the standards are adhered to, ensuring that the highest quality of applications are developed, submitted and projects supported.
The post-holder will work closely with and support other colleagues in EIE and Research & Development Divisions of REIS, including liaising with the Impact & Engagement Team, central IP & Contracts support staff, bid writers and research hub teams to maintain an overview of all collaborative project and contracts in his/her portfolio. There is also an expectation that the post holder will be required to work flexibly and support the Research Hubs in times of high workload and demand.
