Fixed Term for 1 year with the possibility of extension

The Edinburgh Parallel Computing Centre (EPCC) in collaboration with the ISARIC4C consortium, Public Health Scotland and HDR UK is looking for an enthusiastic Project Data Manager to oversee and manage the ISARIC4C Analyses Platform data acquisition, development, management, and governance processes. 

The Opportunity:

This post offers the opportunity to work as part of a fast-moving, highly motivated effort to make health data available to researchers to understand Covid-19 and to inform the response by addressing important and urgent questions.  The post holder will work with EPCC team members, the ISARIC4C consortium, Public Health Scotland and other academic, NHS and industrial partners to establish and maintain a high quality trusted data platform and research environment.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • Significant project and data management experience as well as a desire to work collaboratively with partners across the UK. 
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure and linkage
  • Experience in designing processes and procedures for data governance
  • Experience in writing, designing and implementing policy and procedure
  • Demonstrable understanding of heath data science.
