We are seeking applications from outstanding individuals who are motivated to shape the future and advance the reputation of Oxford Brookes Business School through their teaching, research and academic leadership. As a Programme Lead you will contribute to the development of the subject area group in the Business School, shaping the future of Hospitality, Events and Tourism Management.
Working with senior colleagues in the area and other Programme Leads in the Business School, you will take responsibility for line management in the subject area and provide academic leadership. Applicants should be established people managers and be passionate about talent management and development to deliver an outstanding learning experience to students. You will demonstrate an enthusiasm for pedagogic innovation and quality enhancements, including in virtual and blended learning environments. Alongside leading modules, you will actively support the development of a research-informed curriculum through staff recruitment and planning. As an active researcher, you will have a strong profile in relevant specialisms.

We are looking for a creative and innovative individual who can lead and inspire and is committed to the development and welfare of both staff and students. You will anticipate change and be able to combine strategic thinking with operational management to support our academic community in achieving the highest possible outcomes. You will be an excellent communicator with first class interpersonal skills, and as a team player you will have an enthusiastic and positive approach to work.
As well as having students from over 60 countries worldwide, the international footprint of the Business School also includes partnerships in Europe, China and South-East Asia that span teaching and research. Our collaboration with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) has seen over 30,000 students from 133 countries graduate, while the Oxford Brookes Global MBA is ranked in the top 15 worldwide (QS Distance Online MBA).
Oxford Brookes Business School has a vibrant and inclusive community of researchers focused on delivering impactful world-leading research and is home to four active Research Centres: The Centre for Business, Society and Global Challenges, The Centre for Diversity Policy Research and Practice, The International Centre for Coaching and Mentoring and the Oxford Regions, Innovation and Enterprise Lab (to be launched in September 2021). The School has been awarded research funding from prestigious sources to include UKRI, ESRC, EPSRC, Innovate UK, the British Academy, EU Horizon 2020 and the Nuffield Foundation.
