Advert for a Research Assistant to support a quit smoking trial in homeless centres
A full-time research assistant is sought to assist with the running of this trial which aims to explore the effects of e-cigarettes compared with usual care for quitting smoking when offered at homeless centres. The study is funded by the NIHR’s Public Health Research Programme.
We are looking for a research assistant with previous experience of running quantitative research projects and excellent interpersonal skills to help support this exciting new project. You would work with a team of researchers in the Centre for Addictive Behaivours Research within the School of Applied Sciences.

The post-holder will be responsible for assisting with the set up the study, working with homeless centres in London and the South East, advertising for, recruiting and testing participants, collecting, entering and storing data and liaising with the clinical trial manager and co-investigators.
The post is full time for 2 ½ years, starting from 1st December 2021.
