We are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced professional to join the SITS Support & Development team within Academic Services. Working alongside the SITS Support & Development Manager you will lead the work of the Statutory Returns team ensuring that appropriate business and data processes are in place to safeguard the timely submission of highly quality assured student-related statutory returns (including Student HESA, Data Futures, HESES, Unistats, Aggregate Offshore, Graduate Outcomes, ILR, NSS) in accordance with all statutory and regulatory requirements. One of your initial priorities will be to lead the enhancement of systems and processes to ensure the successful transition to the new HESA Data Futures statutory reporting model.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with a background in statutory returns and experience in data and business processes. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and be experienced working with large and complex datasets. Excellent communication skills are required to explain the technicalities of data and it’s onward uses to a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of the university. An ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities is essential. You will have excellent leadership skills and proven experience of managing a team and supporting staff development.
