About the role: In this role you will have responsibilities for providing administrative support for a number of our student facing processes and activities, working with external agencies to ensure accurate reporting of data to meet compliance requirements and providing support to a number of action oriented working groups within the university. 

About you: You will become an expert within your particular portfolio with a working knowledge of the institution and the higher education funding context.

You will be responsible for managing your own work and working to support the rest of the Student Money Service Team. You will also have the ability to work closely with other departments internal and external to the university.

Comfortable with working in a fast-changing environment, you will support the delivery of a range student facing activities and a number of key business processes related to students’ financial support while at the university as well as supporting the correct, timely and appropriate provision of advice, guidance and support to our students.

We are looking for someone who is able to work in an environment delivering results within non-negotiable deadlines.

You will be ready to take ownership and accountability for your own workload. We require someone who is confident in upholding the Universities policy position even when meeting resistance from external teams, Academics and staff, coaching and influencing them to adhere to regulatory requirements in a positive and constructive manner, finding the best outcomes for all stake holders.

This post is based at our lively Frenchay campus.

This is a permanent full-time post, working 37 hours per week.

The University will be implementing a hybrid way of working once restrictions from Covid 19 end therefore you will be expected to work on campus for part of your working week. Exact days will be agreed with your line manager.

The University’s normal practice is that new appointments will be made at the starting point of the grade.
