We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Manager to join the NDM HR Centres of Excellence. You will be responsible for the development of an actively coordinated approach to drive recruitment across the Department, ensuring our strategic HR objectives and operational plans are met. Working at both a strategic and operational level, you will partner closely with managers to support the identification of hiring needs, the development of compelling and attractive job descriptions and adverts and to provide advice on up-to-date attraction strategies to find the best talent. 

Each year the Department advertises in the region of 500 of jobs so it is essential that you have proven ability to quickly establish credibility with senior managers and key partners to provide a proactive and added value recruitment service. An innovative thinker, capable of generating creative ideas, specifically to enable the recruitment to niche and difficult to fill roles. 

You will be educated to postgraduate level in HR (CIPD level 7) and will be a chartered member of the CIPD. You will have significant previous experience as Recruitment/Talent Acquisition Manager in a complex organisation, with a demonstrable track record of transforming the recruitment function within an organisation and experience of managing a team. 

The position is a fixed-term contract for two years, in the first instance and is funded by the Department.
