The INTO London World Education Centre is an independent study centre, teaching International Foundation, International Year, Graduate Diploma and Pre-masters programmes. On completion of their programme of study, our students progress to universities throughout the UK.
INTO London is currently looking to recruit a passionate and enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to teach modules on our International Foundation programmes at our Middlesex Street Centre, London E1.
We require a well-qualified teacher with a strong track record of academic success and teaching / delivery to teach Mathematics at the INTO London World Education Centre for international students, based in Middlesex Street, London.
The successful applicant will have the ability to teach students from a variety of countries and cultural backgrounds, and with different language levels. This is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic teachers looking to contribute to INTO’s International Programmes which prepare international students for University studies. The role will include teaching through lectures, seminars and tutorial sessions as well as the design and preparation of module content and assessments. You must also provide academic support for international students.
The post holder will ideally have a relevant post-graduate qualification, relevant teaching experience and a teaching qualification (or be willing to register for one). They must also be highly enthusiastic and have an imaginative and adaptable approach to the delivery of the curriculum area.
As an exceptional teacher, you will be able to demonstrate high standards of delivery in a consistent manner, be committed to improving achievement across all areas of your subject and have an understanding of the strategies required to accomplish this. Strong planning and organisational skills are required.
The successful applicant will be required to work collaboratively in a small academic team, sharing good practice and teaching groups. The post holder will also be expected to act as a personal tutor. The centre encourages professional development of the teaching staff and has an excellent supportive structure both in the delivery of the academic and pastoral programmes. Input into the development of the content and assessment of the current modules within the academic programmes is encouraged.
Expected starting salary; £31,456 to £35,000
Salary is dependent upon skills and experience. London weighting of 13% applies. Pay Band salary £31,456 - £42,561
