The Opportunity:

Applications are invited for a Lectureship in Governance, Technology and Data to join the School of Social and Political Science (SPS) and the Edinburgh Futures Institute (EFI) at the University of Edinburgh. The appointee will be based in SPS’s Subject Area of Politics and International Relations (PIR).                                       

The successful candidate will have a PhD, a track record of high-quality research, the enthusiasm and ability to undertake original cross-disciplinary research and experience of delivering high quality, creative teaching that applies social computational and big data approaches to public policy and governance challenges. We are looking for colleagues who can help build an important new institute committed to world-leading, interdisciplinary teaching and research.

Appointment will be full-time and open-ended. We will consider applications made for part-time employment, but not for less than 0.8 FTE / 4 days a week.
