Working as part of the wider team to deliver cutting-edge programmes of learning, you’ll help guarantee an excellent journey for all students that enter our School of Health. Successfully transitioning from current regulatory regimes to new ones, this role is perfect for anyone ready to bring efficiency to administrative processes – supporting learners at every stage of their professional development.

What you’ll be doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for student queries, responding promptly in line with SLAs and ensuring all issues are logged and resolved (or escalated as necessary).
  • Providing regular communication to learners regarding their programmes of study.
  • Ensuring that attendance of all students is monitored in line with the student engagement policies.
  • Providing administrative support to ensure the smooth running and operation of programmes of study.
  • Contributing suggestions for improvements to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of administrative processes.
  • Liaising with internal departments as required to ensure the smooth running of programmes, escalating any potential issues with programme delivery as appropriate.
  • Ensuring all system and student records remain up to date and accurate.
  • Ensuring all relevant documentation and content for students remains up to date and accurate.
  • Providing accurate reporting to management and other stakeholders in relation to student registration, attendance, progress and completion as required.
  • Undertaking any ad hoc duties in line with level of responsibility as allocated by Head of Operations.

What we’re looking for 

  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and students
  • Experience working in a customer service role
  • Strong data analysis skills including producing and managing documentation
  • Experience of working in an academic environment
  • A relevant degree or experience working in Higher Education is a huge plus
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Skilled in planning, organising and prioritising workloads
  • Digitally literate with a working knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • High attention to detail and strong administration skills
  • Ability to be proactive and input ideas to improve processes and procedures
  • Strong creative problem-solving skills – self-motivated and proven under pressure
