The Faculty of Business and Law brings together MMU Business School and Manchester Law School in our award-winning building located in the centre of Manchester. We have supported industry and commerce in the city since 1889; today we offer undergraduate, postgraduate and research degrees, together with professional qualifications, many recognised by industry associations.
Home to 10000 students, the Faculty is one of the largest and most popular in the UK. Research firmly underpins the curriculum and our strong external focus ensures that the research we do is transferable and supports industry and commerce locally, nationally and internationally.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic and expanding centre providing high quality programmes, knowledge exchange and research. The Centre for Enterprise (www.mmucfe.co.uk) is nationally recognised for its work with small and large firms as well as with social enterprises. The team is professorially led; research underpinned and provides a range of short and long programmes focused on leadership, growth, business development, business management and entrepreneurship. It is a fast paced, dynamic and commercially focussed environment. This is a fixed term position ending 2023.
The Enterprise Fellow will play a pivotal role in the curriculum delivery of the ERDF Eco-I NW and Print City Network projects. This role is part funded by European Regional Development Fund.
Part of the Centre for Enterprise team they will play a leading role in the development of content to support the delivery of programmes to the SME community.
This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the best business and social entrepreneurs in the region and beyond. You will be working alongside a successful academic entrepreneurship team that use their research and knowledge in a commercially driven environment. In the Faculty of Business and Law, you will be based in the brand new Business School building in the heart of the knowledge corridor in central Manchester.
