The Department of English at Manchester Metropolitan seeks to appoint a Lecturer in Publishing.

In September 2020 we launched our new MA Publishing in partnership with Manchester independent publisher Comma Press. This new programme is delivered by an interdisciplinary team from the University's English, Information and Communications, Design and Law subject groups, and strong recruitment in its first two years is supporting the creation of new posts.

The post is suitable for candidates with a Phd in a relevant area or equivalent qualifications and with experience of teaching Publishing. This opportunity will be offered on a permanent, full-time basis of 37 hours per week. The anticipated start date for the successful applicant is 1st  November 2021. For an informal discussion regarding the requirements of the role, please contact Dr Jess Edwards (j.edwards@mmu.ac.uk).
