Location: UCFB Wembley Campus, London

Salary: Total salary package up to £22,000 per annum pro rat depending upon qualifications & experience (up to £19,000 per annum plus a £3,000 London Weighting Allowance)

This role will be based at our UCFB Wembley campus, which is situated inside and around the immediate vicinity of the iconic Wembley Stadium, London including teaching facilities that overlook the famous turf, providing not only students but also our staff with a truly unique inspiring and iconic working environment.

The Opportunity

To work alongside the Logistics Coordinator and prepare all UCFB Wembley areas on a daily basis and ensure all UCFBW areas are ready for users (staff and students) at all times. This includes assisting the logistics coordinator in preparing the stadium for conversion from and to Wembley event days in line with the UCFB/Stadium requirements. Working alongside and integrating with the Wembley and Delaware North Logistics Teams is essential to gain an understanding of all aspects of Wembley Stadium in order to support the activities of UCFBW. 

About You

The successful candidate will have experience of working in an operations/logistics environment and have good people and team skills and confidence in dealing with people at multiple levels.


  • Support the UCFB logistics coordinator and support on all UCFB logistics activity across all sites/facilities in the Wembley Campus:
    • Wembley Stadium
    • Arch View House – Teaching, Study Hub and Office spaces
    • AVH Unite Student Accommodation
    • The Hive
    • Any new facilities as and when added
  • Assist the logistics coordinator in the setup and running of the new facility at AVH and ensure new processes are set up and embedded where required
  • (Stadium) Have a thorough understanding of where all UCFB assets are stored on non-event days and assist in maintaining the asset register
  • (Stadium) Have a thorough understanding of where UCFB assets are moved to and from on event days
  • (Stadium) Carry out daily walk rounds, ensuring the building is in good order, noting any defects and raising with facilities manager.  Follow up and action items.
  • (All sites) Carry out room changes and ensure equipment is present throughout the day to enable UCFB academic timetable to operate smoothly
  • (all sites) Check the printing areas regularly and ensure all printers have a stock of paper, liaise with Facilities Administrator to order additional to keep stock takes. Replace cartridges in the printers across campus when IT are unable to do so, training will be provided.
  • (All sites) Check all projectors and TV screens across campus daily and report any concerns to IT Department and facilities manager
  • (AVH) Maintain the live plant installations at AVH with regular watering and plant maintenance
  • Support the Logistics Coordinator with the conversion of UCFB areas for event days, including moving UCFB assets to UCFB storage areas, and central storage. And similarly return UCFB areas to education usage
  • Assist the Logistics Coordinator and/or carry out basic maintenance of UCFBW assets and facilities as and when required
  • Monitor the facilities inbox (helpdesk) for logistics requests and respond in line with the Helpdesk service levels
  • Be aware of procedures particularly where Risk Assessments are in force or Health and Safety Management is required
  • Establish good working relationships with other suppliers within the stadium
  • Support the Facilities Manager in appropriate FM tasks, including booking cleaning services, liaising with contractors and supporting on the access control system (training provided)
  • Provide support on Marketing and recruitment events (e.g. Open days, Taster Days and School visits) to both IT and Facilities.
  • Support other members of the facilities team as and when required, e.g. facilities inbox checking/deliveries/post
  • Be available to work out-of-hours as and when required, with due notice
  • Execute additional tasks as required in order to meet UCFB changing priorities

Additional Information

Working hours: Working hours normally 8.30 am - 5pm but may involve additional and unsocial working hours depending on the nature of the event and occasional travel between campus.

Please note that if you do not have permission to work in the UK, UCFB will not be able to obtain a Certificate of Sponsorship for you to take up this position. All non EU/EAA candidates must have valid immigration status and/or a UK visa valid for the duration of the contract in order to be considered for this role.
