To build on the expertise within the School of Health Sciences we are seeking to appoint an excellence clinician, with either a strong Research or Teaching profile and expertise in Independent and Supplementary Prescribing. The successful candidate will work alongside colleagues to support the Health Education England commissioned, NMC and HCPC validated, prescribing programmes within the school.
The school of Health Sciences is a leading provider of undergraduate and post graduate education and is in the top 10 in the UK for research following the last Research Excellence Framework assessment (REF) and holds a Gold award for Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
The School has recently moved to a brand-new refurbished facility. The state-of-the-art teaching technology and Clinical Simulation Centre demonstrate the University’s investment in this high achieving School.
With the ever-increasing recognition of the benefits to quality patient care, that can be achieved through advanced HCP roles, we have seen the demand for programmes such as MSc Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) and Independent and Supplementary Prescribing grow.
This post offers an excellent opportunity for talented and ambitious healthcare professional, with experience either in a research or education field. We are keen to support applications from a variety of fields of practice, however, require the successful candidate to be prescriber within their clinical field, and to hold a current clinical registration, to meet current validation status requirements.
