Anglia Ruskin University, London (ARU London) is an ambitious, teaching-focussed provider of undergraduate and postgraduate education, primarily aimed at a widening participation audience.  Based in the heart of London, just a stone-throw from Farringdon Station, ARU London is a multi-building campus hosting over 9,500 students studying subjects related to Business, Hospitality, Healthcare, Law and Finance. 

Continued growth in demand for our student-focused courses has led to the opportunity to expand our exceptional delivery team in Health and Social Care.

We are looking for a lecturer with healthcare or social care sector experience in a professional role as well as some relevant teaching experience in higher education. The successful applicant will be employed to lecture on a range of general health and social care modules including, but not limited to, the healthcare environment, health and safety, and healthcare professional practice. Our ideal candidate will have a wide suite of subject knowledge, be flexible enough to work on some evenings and Saturdays, in addition to normal Monday to Friday sessions, and above all will be energetic, inspirational, and supportive teachers with a passion for developing our students.

You will be qualified to a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree level in a relevant healthcare or social care discipline, and postgraduate qualifications are desirable.  A strong grounding in industry will be an advantage, together with fellowship (or commitment to gain fellowship) of the HEA.
