The Executive MBA (EMBA) is a major teaching programme established in 2009 at Cambridge Judge Business School. This is a 20-month premium fee degree programme, which attracts an annual cohort of over 100 senior executives from around the globe. The cohort has an average of 12 years' work experience, including senior management roles. The programme is designed specifically for executives who have already reached a senior level and are now looking at leading roles within their organisations, or those who want to explore roles in new sectors or start their own companies.
The University has recently approved the establishment of a Global Executive MBA (GEMBA) pathway which will be delivered partly in Cambridge and partly in China. This is a significant strategic and critical development for CJBS. The GEMBA will complement the existing EMBA programme and will be similarly available to an international cohort of working executives.
The GEMBA/EMBA office is responsible for all organisational aspects of delivering the GEMBA/EMBA programme, including marketing, admissions, teaching materials, coordination of faculty and other internal and external input to the programme, feedback, examinations, student welfare and careers advice.
The GEMBA/EMBA Admissions and Marketing Assistant will support the Marketing and Admissions functions of the Cambridge EMBA and GEMBA, to recruit students from all over the world and of the highest calibre. The role holder will provide a high quality of service and customer care to all relevant stakeholders including enquirers, current students, academics, alumni and colleagues.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational, IT and interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask, and have an eye for detail and accuracy.
The role holder will provide support for events, student recruitment, and marketing activities and should have an enthusiastic and flexible approach to their work and enjoy working as part of a team. Additionally, the position will involve management and updating of databases. Experience of working in a client focused environment and previous University admissions and/or marketing experience would be advantageous, as would experience of events coordination.
Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 2 years in the first instance.
