We have an exciting opportunity to join the University of Brighton in a strategic role at the heart of our professional services for students and staff.
Following a major review of our administrative landscape, the University is seeking to appoint a Deputy Academic Registrar (Registry Services) to lead the continuous improvement of registry services, and the systems and processes that underpin them.
The Deputy Academic Registrar leads one of the two departments that comprise the Academic Registry and is responsible for five key services: Admissions, Student Administration, Timetabling, Student Systems, Data and Business Improvement and Ceremonies, Examinations and Awards.
You will be an experienced higher education professional with knowledge of relevant sector regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as a track record in leading one or more registry functions in a University setting. You will draw on these skills to ensure the University’s registry services are fit for purpose, secure compliance and the confidence of users and stakeholders.
Deputising for the Academic Registrar in relevant activities, the role holder will be a member of strategic University groups and committees. Academic Registry Leadership Group and others as appropriate, and will therefore play a key role in shaping and implementing the broader priorities of the Department and the University.
This is a full-time permanent post.
