The Business Intelligence Analyst reports to the Head of Performance Analysis as part of the Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) team. Responsibilities of SPP include:

  • Oversees the annual planning and risk management process.
  • Delivers the performance management framework and the provision of performance management data.
  • Oversees external data returns and benchmarks against competitors and the sector overall.
  • Delivers analysis of corporate datasets with the view to performance improvement.
  • Delivers core management information for staff across the Group.

Overall purpose of the role:
To provide high quality, insightful and professional analyses of internal and external data to support the work of the Strategy, Planning and Performance (SPP) Team.

The post-holder will form collaborative relationships with colleagues in both academic and professional services functions across the LSBU Group.

Main activities and responsibilities:

  • Design and implement easy to maintain, agile IT solutions to support key business intelligence needs;
  • Produce accurate and timely performance information for stakeholders across the LSBU Group to assist decision making to improve performance;
  • Support the Group in managing large data collections surrounding surveys relating to student feedback;
  • Support the data collation, cleansing, analysis and quality assurance processes in relation to external returns.

Details about the role and how to apply:
Permanent, Full Time – 35 hours a week.
