Loughborough University Library is seeking applicants for the role of Open Research Manager (Data and Methods).

Reporting to the Open Research Development and Discovery Lead the post-holder will work:

  • To manage and promote the University’s open research service with a focus on open data and open methods (in co-ordination with the wider Library Open Research team)
  • To liaise with all stakeholders, both internal and external, to develop an open research infrastructure within the University

This is a very exciting time to join the University and the Library’s Open Research team. Loughborough is committed to opening up our research. Building on our existing expertise we are working across the institution (including with academic Open Research Leads) to implement our Open Research Position Statement and the post holder will be a key person helping to deliver our associated Open Research Action Plan. The University is highly regarded and the Library enjoys excellent staff and student feedback.

This is a full time permanent post based at our East Midlands Loughborough Campus.
