About the Role

The post holder will provide support, advice and guidance to students within the School of Politics and International Relations. You will play a lead role in the implementation of the School’s student support strategy, in particular supporting students identified as requiring additional support. Working as part of the student support team, the postholder will lead on the implementation of the extenuating circumstances process within the school.

About You

You will have a proven record of student support and engagement work in a higher education setting or other public sector setting. You will have experience of working with students and of ensuring processes and procedures relevant to student support are in place. You will have experience of working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders, at varying levels of seniority and have excellent communication and organizational skills. You will be highly numerate with good experience of data manipulation, data analysis and statistics.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full-time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment, with an expected start date of January 2022. The starting salary will be Grade 4 £34,733 - £40,797 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
