Queen Mary University of London is expanding its Planning team. This new role will lead a team of data experts who will enable the University to gain maximum value from one of its key assets, data. We are looking for someone who loves working with data, has experience of leading teams of people and a track-record of delivering process and systems improvements.
As a Planning Manager with responsibility for data transformation and returns you will use your relationship-building, problem-solving and analytical skills to work with colleagues across the university to help innovate and optimise data, in order to improve operational processes and strategic decision making.
You will lead a team of 5 Analysts and Senior Analysts with responsibility for a diverse range of data focussed functions including:
Immediate priorities for the role holder will be to introduce a framework for data process improvement, work with colleagues in HR, Finance and IT to establish common data definitions and structures and deliver HESA Data Futures in a smart / automated manner.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full-time, permanent appointment. The starting salary will be Grade 6, in the range of £48,035- £53,625 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
