We are currently seeking a HR Assistant to join the Recruitment Services Team within our Human Resources Department. As part of our team, you will provide a proactive and professional service supporting staff, managers and applicants with the administration of the University recruitment process for candidates that have successfully gained employment at our institution.  

Your main responsibilities will be working with staff within the University, providing consistent support to hiring managers and candidates guiding them through offers of employment. You will manage queries through to resolution and ensure that all compliance is met in order for a candidate to start work. You will be responsible for managing pre-employment and new starter checks, ensuring that they are completed in a timely manner in line with pre-agreed service level agreements.  

As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate your strong administration skills within a recruitment environment, including your ability to build relationships and communicate with people at all levels. As a customer facing member of staff, you will be used to providing high levels of service, and have the ability to deal with pressurised environments managing multiple priorities. You will have a good understanding of IT systems, including the Microsoft Office Suite, and be confident in prioritising your task list to ensure you deliver work on time.
