With excellent knowledge and understanding of the research process and the REF, you will have a strong track record of supporting the development of impact from academic research and the preparation of impact case studies. You will have effective interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and maintain excellent working relationships with academic colleagues from across a wide range of disciplines and with colleagues in other professional support service roles
To be successful, you will have demonstrable influencing and networking skills, with the ability to influence and persuade key decision makers internally and externally. With excellent analytical skills you will be able to manage complex information effectively and will be able to develop and successfully implement solutions to problems.
About the Role
This role creates an excellent opportunity to lead, develop and expand the University’s impact support service. You will have the opportunity to continue the development of research and research impact culture at Edge Hill University, and to work with an exciting diverse range of impact projects.
Working closely with colleagues across the University, you will be responsible for developing impact activities and ensuring that impact activities are appropriately embedded into the research lifecycle in order to create the right environment and opportunities for impact as defined in the Research Excellence Framework (REF).
