About the Role
A vacancy has arisen within the Facilities Management Team in the School of EECS to assist with managing buildings and teaching space at the Mile End campus in East London. This role will oversee the daily operations of the Informatics Teaching Laboratories (ITL) building to ensure a safe, calm and secure environment for all users, and to maintain the safety and welfare of students, staff and visitors at all times.

About You
You should be able to work with tact and confidentiality, and deal effectively with people face-to-face with a customer-oriented approach. You will have a strong awareness of the current and rapidly evolving requirements of students in today’s HE environment and be able to foster effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders both internal and external to Queen Mary. The ability to listen carefully and calmly, and impart information clearly, both verbally and in writing is essential. Recognised qualifications in health & safety and project management will be an advantage.

The post is based at the Mile End Campus in London. It is a full time (35 hours per week), permanent appointment and is available immediately. The starting salary will be in the range of £34,733-£40,797 per annum (Grade 4), inclusive of London Allowance.
