A qualified and experienced Joiner is required to work within the Estates Department undertaking planned, preventative and responsive maintenance and installation across all University campuses and buildings.
This position will play a proactive role within a critical response service, engaging with end users to deliver a first-class customer experience within a high-quality environment. You will be a committed, friendly team player who is keen to develop and progress.
Candidates should be qualified to NVQ level 2 or equivalent in an appropriate woodworking discipline, have demonstrable post qualification experience and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. As this role requires the post holder to drive between university sites a full current driving licence is also essential for this role unless disability precludes this.
Hours of work for this permanent post are 36.25 per week to be worked 5 days out of 7 to be arranged. Job share arrangements may be considered. Further details regarding the duties, responsibilities and qualifications required for the role can be found on the attached job Role Profile.
