You will manage all aspects of risk management to ensure arrangements are appropriate; integrated in line with governance structures and embedded in the University’s strategy. You will act as a central point of expertise, providing guidance to empower managers to effectively manage risk and to develop and implement the University’s risk management culture and strategy ensuring it remains responsive and fit for purpose. You will work closely with the University’s Executive Board and other senior stakeholders to identify and manage strategic risks on an ongoing basis and to provide operational leadership to ensure the university’s statutory duties (e.g. Safeguarding and Prevent) are fulfilled.
The role is suited to a mixture of campus and remote work and typically involves working at least 50-60% of the week on campus and the remainder remotely. The post reports to the Registrar via the Executive Office and Governance Manager.
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position.
